Default LED tail lights with intigrated turn signals

What do you guys think of the tail lights with the intigrated turn signals?

So far my bike is stock and Im trying to decide what to do. How visible are the turn signals are from behind? I live in a college town with a lot of bad drivers and I want to make sure they can see me. So far I have left the rear fender intact because of the visibilty.

Im thinking of installing the LED rear tail with signals and an undertail with signals. Id hate to have some dumb kid hit me from behind because they wernt paying attention.

I can't tell you about the 08 1K's personally but I have the integrated signals on my 06 and I love it. It looks great...alot better than those stock signals. I feel the visibility is good but my friend tells me that it is kind of hard to see in the daytime, but at night they are really visible

I think the Hotbodies undertail looks smooth but I dont trust those turnsignals. They look sooo small. Not to mention they are the most expensive option.

I may go with a smooth, black, undertail with an intigrated tail light. Ill make a license plate bracket out of abs and mount it closer to the center of the bike. The only problem is that it wont be legal. In NYS your turn signals have to be at least 6" apart.

Ive also been thinking about the Evotech undertail. Ill probably change my mind a few more times before I finally make a purchase. I have at least one more month of winter before I can even think about riding it anyway. :/

I use a smoke colored clear alternatives one on my 05. It looks great and is more visible than stock, but I don't know about the 08.

I have the hotbodies under tail on my 08, and would not recomend it. turn signals ar verry dim, i called them and they told me they are visable from the minimum distance allowed.
