Default how many horse's?

hey all just wondering what type of numbers you guys are getting out of your CBR 1000's?

i've got a 2005,jardine RT- 1, power com and re-mapped to suit. my mechanic managed to get a very smooth power curve to peak at 149.8hp.

only prob i wish i did it as soon as i got it, feels like a totally different bike!

thanks in advance, Lee

I pulled 152when we went to bike week in 05 on my 05 repsol with a yoshimuraona dyno they had set up. I watched another repsol pull 160 with a full arrow exhaust, intake mods and a pc3. A friends 04 R1 pulled 158 with an akrapovic and a pc3. Another friends 03 R1 pulled 138 with a yoshimura slip on and pc3. These were all on the same dyno within an hour of each other. So comparative to each other I think the differences are genuine. But the actual hp number will vary from dyno to dyno. It seams that between dynos you can havea 3-5 percent difference.

But if your bike is pulling a nice linear curve, thats the best for the street anyway. You could probably sqeeze a few more peak hp out of it, but you would more than likely sacrifice it somewhere else.
