RE: fork mods
A little adjustment shouldn`t do you any harm, you`d probably feel it too hard before you changed it enough to hurt em over bumps.
Not to hard though over hard compresion damping will start to make you run wide in turns on the road. Adjust them little at a time till you get a rate that your happy with, road riding is always a comprimise isn`t it, all the freakin turds in ya way for starts.
tell ya what tho once you`ve learnt how to set it up the way you like it you`ll love it, and trackdays are more fun too.

RE: fork mods
i dont know if this has been suggestd yet, but when i "experimented" with my settings, all i did was set all the settings to full hard (insert joke here lol) and the went from there. i dont remember exactly what i ended up with but alls i know is that it rides better than when i got it from the showroom. thats my suggestion
