Default fender eliminators

Are the competition werkes fender eliminator kits illegal in socal.

It's hard to say, I think it just depends on the officer that stops you.

Well, technically the plate is not suppose to be any further back then the rear axle. However, you shouldnt be bothered too much since it does have a plate light and it is mounted onto something and it is visible. They screw with people who just bolt it to their undertails and no light. You should be fine. I have never been messed with and I have the competition werkes as well

Supposedly from what I'm told, universally as long as the plate can be seen from 100ft behind and is not obstructed there should not be an issue.

Hey AJ.

I myself live in Orange,CA *socal* and this is what i use:

CW fender elim. STD i believe it was.



It keeps the plate at the rear. and uses the stock rear turn sigs and stock plate light in the middle of your turn signals (little lump between the turn sigs on the metal bracket)

I've had multiple cops behind me and not a problem yet. Hope it helps.
