Best Mod - Power Commander

High flow air filter - BMC (Race) then do the Flapper valve mod

Exhaust - To many to pick from (get what you like)

Gear Change - Front 1 down Back 2 up , then get a SpeedoHealer

How do you like the gearing with 1 down and 2 up? I just went 1 down last night so I have not riden it yet but I was also thinking about going up 2 also.

I wouldn't do 2 up on the rear unless you were doing the 520 conversion .
1 down on the front is the best bang for the buck.

520 conversion

Yes

Not much , my mileage sucks , I tend to keep the needle above 7grand , that's just the way I ride (in the middle of the power band)
Here is a Gearing Spreadsheet (excel)

Hell yes , I've done it to all my bikes

I`ve replaced the brake lines for steel braided hoses, i had a bit of fade with the original items when in constant use fast riding and track, i`d recommend this mod `cos you gotta stop faster if ya wanna go faster.

If you're actually gonna ride it, this is what I'd do first:
Woodcraft frame sliders
Puig double bubble windscreen
Arata adjustable rearseats
Sargent seat
Throttlemeister
Galfer Superbike F & R brake lines + clutch line.

Next would be a shock (Elka, Ohlins or Penske) & re-valved forks would allow you to ride faster than any other mod(s) for the same money*.

Other things like exhaust/ PC III, LED turnsignals, sprocket/chain, rearseat cowl, airfilter (BMC), flapper valve, carbon fibre can come later down the line as your buget allows.

*BST carbon wheels would make a HUGE difference, but they are very expensive & the suspension (F&R) would need to be set-up with these or they'd be off the mark.

Spend as much/more of yer hard earned dosh on riding schools/trackdays to really become fast.

Cheers
