I have a black 1k and am looking to do some mods. I'm definitely getting a fender elim kit, but was wandering if getting a smoke integrated taillight and smoke flush turns was to much. Am I asking for an early departure? Apreciate the input.

so you dont think havin all smoke signals will be dangerous during the day.
are they pretty visible?

 

We've got the same bike and I'm in the process of similar mods. I've got HotBodies smoked flushmounts installed already, and although they look great, they're not visible from the front of the bike. Not at all. They make intersections with oncoming cars interesting sometimes.

As far as the integrated taillight, I've got one on order, but because I didn't want that as my only rear blinker I got LED's installed in my passenger pegs also. I have yet to hook them up yet though.

I love the looks of my flushmounts but I am either going to get rid of them or add integrated turn signal/mirrors to my bike. I am a little more concerned about safety than looks at this point.

mine is all black too... i like it. and i am just finnishing my demon eyes... might do some more red accent light elsewhere too. like in the rear cowl vents ect...

My buddy murdered his all out except swingarm which is being done shortly and I have the opposite. My bike is the blue/yellow with carbon and (colored levers <-- soon)

 

Go for it. Come over to the dark side. My bike is under a "Murdered Out" project and it's about 90% complete. Powder coated the rearsets, shifter, pegs, heatshield. Got some black CRG shorty levers. The swingarm is next. The only thing I'mleaving alone is the bolt heads, that's a bit too much trouble. Black is beautiful, right?
