Default 954 rim vs. 1000 rr rim

Are these two rims compatible with one another, i recently bought a 2006 1000 rr and i realized after the purchase that the forks had been swithed with forks from a 954, i am now looking itto selling the 954 forks and replacing them with the proper forks, but now im wondering if i have the correct front rim or does that need to be changed also???? If they are different how do i distinguish which one i have???

thanx in advance

Default RE: 954 rim vs. 1000 rr rim

nope it will not fir, two different rims, different calipers, brakes forks the whole nine yards, besides the 954 has a much stronger front end. if you do switch it out back to stock you will need and entire front end, brake lines and everything,
