Default 2006 CBR 1000RR Exhaust Question

I have a 2006 CBR 1000RR and wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations on either a full exhaust system or slip-on pipe to purchase? I would like to purchase one that will not affect the performance of the bike. Any tech reviews or articles that you could link me to would be appreciated.

A. Do a search - Lots of exhaust stuff here
B. All exhaust will change the performance... Most will improve your bike

Lot's of nice exhausts out there. I went with the Akrapovic Carbon Fiber Hex Slip On.

To answer you question thou. I went with the Jardine dual outlet. After reading some post on how its been melting, well the earlier models, if mine gives me any trouble Ill def be going with the akra hex. sharp lookin pipe.

bboi,

Those were my two choices also and I was also aware of the CF tips melting on the end of the Jardine. You are correct though. That was suppossedly only a problem on the first runs and I have not heard it mentioned in a long time so you are probably fine.
