How long should stock bearings last? also how much of a difference can ceramic bearings make? Where can you buy them ?

loud sounds when coasting in netural. loss of 7 miles per hour at top end.

I would say it all depends on bearing life i.e. riding conditions, maintenance, sand, rain, blah blah blah. As for the ceramics I couldnt tell ya, sorry.

 

does anyone know where to get new bearings, preferabley ceramic....I know the dealer has them anywhere else

 

I replaced the front wheel bearrings on my 93 F-2with "ALL BALLZ"( not sure if they were ceramic though)they were a 1/3 of the cost of OEM parts, got em at my local Kawi dealer

 

though bearings are a "wear" item, they could easily last you the life of the wheel. What are you doing that you're going through bearings???

ceramic bearings will only make a difference [arguably] if you're racing. They were out faster than stock, so they don't make much sense for a street-only bike.
