I prefer the NGKs. I can get them cheaper from work too, so that does help. Lol. I think they run better than some others out there though.

The only way you will notice ANY power improvement is if your current ones aren't firing at all. The IR plugs do nothing for performance. Some say they could wheelie in 6th gear after they put them in but I think they may have been drunk when they rode it. LOL.
I use IR plugs so I likely wont have to change them again while I own any bike and use NGK when I do. Never had a misfire yet. Other than that, you wont notice a difference.

NGK IX or DENSO Iridium Power are pretty much comparable. the only difference i think is that NGK's smallest electrode is 0.6mm while DENSO uses a 0.4mm electrode diameter.DENSO has the tapered cut and u-groove (could be DENSO hype) but iridium is an absolute must. iridium can handle heat 700C above platinum.the higher compression ratio, the hotter the plug tip can become. the NGK iridium plug might provide a longer life because it's a larger diameter plug (more electrode to wear down). however, the 0.4mm size on the DENSO reduces misfires becauseit doesn't need the same amount of voltage to create the spark. note that iridium plugs do not provide a longer life than platinum, it's strictly about having the best spark under all stress conditions.
