Default RE: dual seat conversion

My neighbor and I have f4i,s we converted his dual seat to a banana I think we have most of the dual seat parts. if you are interested.
also the harness is different and the starting relay and cables are moved but the 04-05 are longer so should tuck in and work.
and I think we have all of the custom screws.

Default Rear cowling

I did this conversion on my 2000 F4, everything went alright, a few minor hiccups.
1) on the 2000 subframe, the fuel pump mounts directly to the frame. on the 01-03 frame there is no mount for the fuel pump. fix: made a bracket out of a piece of 1/4" thick aluminum with nothing but a hacksaw, a vice, and a hammer.
2) when i went to fit the rear cowling, it didn't line up. i still haven't figured out what to do about this. i bought a rear cowl on ebay from a UK seller. it was brand new and i got it at a decent price. now when i try to put it on, none of the holes line up. is there a difference between the UK f4i models and US models? i wouldn't think so but when lining up the cowling and putting the frankenstein bolts in, the front mounting holes are almost a half inch off on both sides.
any suggestions from anyone would be much appreciated.
