Default Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator

Hi all

I want to buy one of the above for my 2001 Rossi but have a couple of questions for anyone who has one of these fitted.

What does it look like from underneath? Photos would be great

How does the plate light relocate?

How wide is the plate bracket (Im in UK so believe our plates have to be wider than is required in US).

Any help at all really appreciated

Thank you
Justin

Funny thing is I didn't even know I had a CW undertail until now, lol. The black box looking thing in the middle is the light. It's since been replaced with LEDs.

Installation is pretty long if you just use their directions. My best advice is to take your time and make sure you have every piece installed correctly on the pre-install assembly before you tighten down the bolts. The instructions forget to mention things you need to mount during some of the directions and if you don't catch them you'll end up having to unbolt and re-bolt several times. It'll take some trials of cutting and fitting because you most likely wont get it with the first cuts you make, but installation is pretty easy and can be done with some minor hand tools, a power drill, and I suggest a dremel tool to do the cutting. The plate bracket is made for the standard US plate and I'm pretty sure they don't have a European substitute so you'll have to bolt on some extensions.

If your going to go to all the work of putting that in, why not get one that covers the whole underside. They look better and just as easy to install.

Thanks to all for some great replies, if one of you with the eliminator could measure the width of the license plate holder for me that'd be great.

Thanks again
