the 1994 and UP models are ok, but the 1993 and earlier Ex500's are ABSOLUTE ****. the factory flywheel throws magnets, 16" rims, a HIDEOUS gauge cluster with a tach that gets erratic easily, excessively noisy and unreliable cam chain tensioner. these are just issues common to the first gens. ALL years of EX500 generally have a 30K mile lifespan at most, then they die or pretty much go to ****.
