That price was from Gold Coast Honda
the part numbers were 07GMA-ML70120 and 07GMA-ML70110
do I need both?

$160, I workout for the Carbtune-II with pouch

I use to do my bikes myself, 2 life-times ago, then I got lazy (lazier, depending on who you ask), plus, things look a bit different from the CB750 with it’s one cam

[ Just had a look at the manual, it now look to me that the hardest part is takeing the fairing and tank off, see what you mean by long feeler gauges ]

Shop around on the tools. Because I'm a member of a club and have contacts I get Honda stuff at least 10% of rrp. But trust me they make a lot more markup than that.

AFAIK you only need one tool. My Haynes manual says which one but I cant get to it atm. Just ask ya dealer.

My Haynes said ...20, it was about $60
I ordered both but the guy said that if I only wanted one, He would send the other back (that was nice of him <[:-)
