looks sweet... i always wanted to do a tail swap but never liked it iwth the f2 front

 

Yeah me to but its getting an f4i swap this winter along with other things so its all going to be good.

 

I ****en love it. Could you snap some more detail pixx of how you mounted the R6 sub to the F2 frame??

 

Definitely need some better pictures. I would be interested in a write up on a tail swap. Both generically speaking and specific to your application.

 

Also what year R6 did that tailsection/subframe come from?? The F2 rear is hideous.. lol

Dustin, happen to have any pictures of where you welded the r6 subframe to the cbr frame? Im thinking about doing this as well for a winter project and any help would be appreciated.

Yea ill get some pictures up for you guys sorry been busy with work and then been riding after work trying to ride all the nice days i can not to many left here. Its actually a 99-02 r6 subframe. I didnt actually weld the subframe to the f2 frame. I made brackets and welded them to the f2 frame so that that way it can be removed plus the subframe is aluminum cant weld that to steel. Ill try to get some pictures with in the next week guys so its taking so long i know yall want to see how its put together

 

Yeah, thx for that info. def want details on the brackets. more pixx the merrier. that **** looks sooo hot on these old schools. I h a v e to do it, plus I'm about to buy another frame :-D
