Start-Up Problems (Bike Warm)
Bike 1987 Honda Cbr600F (hurricane)
Ok so my bike started this new little thing recently. I will ride for a while 5 mins-30 mins turn the bike off for a minute or more. Try to start it back up wont start, let it sit for 30 seconds then fires up like nothing. But sometimes i need to put the choke on a bit to get it to even start kicking over.
Example went to gas station today about 8 miles away, filled it up. When to start it wouldnt start, waited 30 seconds fired up.
Ive tried to get it like 10 seconds after wont work, its weird do i need to put the choke on or what?

RE: Start-Up Problems (Bike Warm)
I had a similar issue with mine except that it took longer than 30 seconds to get it started agian. Every once in while, it would also backfire. I replaced the my plugs and cleaned the air filter and then it ran like a champ. I must say, my plugs were way over due for replacment.

I don't know that sounds like a weird one. I was going to suggest that there was a Vapor locking thing going on with your gas tank and preventing fuel flow due to poor ventilation. But you went to the gas station and filled it up.....so being that the gas cap was off and venting sorta blows my theory out the water. Make sure your battery cables are on tightly. For some reason if they are loose they play all sorts of havoc! But other than that I don't know much i can say to help you. Could be many many things. Maybe your carbs are a little dirty and once it is warm, it is too lean to start the engine. (hence the slight choke) Or maybe you are having an intermittent poor connections, or faulty signal coil that signal fails when unit is hot and engine is cranking over at 500 rpm....usually starting speed.?? But try the battery terminals first, and when it does it, pop off the fuel cap and listen for a huge sucking sound. I hope anything i said was helpful
