Hey Guys,

I wrecked in October, almost breaking my collarbone and foot which was very painful. Got my bike to my car port and haven't touched it since due to money issues and pain. I let it sit throughout the winter under a car port, in rain/snow. I already ordered some new parts and oil to fix it up for this spring. I'm just wondering if there's anything I should rip apart to check or lube before I replace the broken stator case and put oil and a new filter in to see if the engine still runs. I'm not really a bike mechanic but I don't mind doing my own work. I just wanted to ask if there's anything I should be worried about on the F4i.

Nothing I would worry about until you get it started up after replacing the oil. Once the cover is fixed and oil filled I bet its good to go.

 

Don't forget your battery might need a tickle beforehand.
