The lever is pushed away from the bike (pulled down), and the spark plugs are in the right order.

Hmm... it sure doesn't sound like it's firing right. No chance they're connected to the wrong coil right ?

Yeah, the choke does look like its on (pull toward rider for 'On' ) designed that way so that as you take off, you can use your thumb to close it.

Can that cause the knocking noise? It's going in to the dealership on Tuesday. Hopefully they can diagnose it for me

The CCT's on these bikes are adjusted automatically (unless a PO replaced it with a manual one). You don't need to adjust anything. Without knowing the mileage on the bike, it's hard to say what types of things might need to be done. I'll be interested to know what the $tealer says needs to be done.

Yeah I got the APE manual CCT, but that wasn't the problem lol. Still a good thing to have I guess. Bike has just over 16,000 miles.

I hope the $tealership doesn't rape me lol

1. post this in the correct forum, you don't have a F3.
2. Once reposted, you need to add more information. I don't know what that says.

I had a VERY similar problem on my F2. I posted up how I finally fixed it in the F2 tech forum, but basically making sure the pilot jets are cleaned and also making sure there were no vacuum leaks anywhere fixed those issues for me.

Hope that helps you too, since those are much easier fixes than a valve adjustment :thumbsup

Thanks for the help guys.

The bikes carbs were cleaned, gaskets replaced, spark plugs replaced and it was running beautifully.

Bike was sold last month but thanks for the replies!
