Default 89 CBR 600 fighter

Well as im starting come on here a lot more often thought id start up my build thread so you guys can see whats going on.

I have an 89 CBR 600 that i bought of a friend for £400 with a years MOT (put on that day) and a years tax
Was missing left hand side fairings and right side were very tatty. So off they went and the fun began

So how it started out like when i bought it

The plan;

Work started;

Shortened the wiring loom all over, lost around 5 feet and hidden it all.
Replaced headlight with 7" bowl style thing i had lying around
LED tail light with indicators.
Custom speedo using the original internals and a custom outer shell and glass
Removed original expansion tank and replaced with a Coors Light Aluminum bottle located on the right side engine mount
Originally had heated grips when i bought it so replaced with CNC gold grips and gold CNC shorty levers (to match the rest of the gold planned)

Hotbodies carbon MGP Growler stubby

YouTube video link to the exhaust

How she currently sits now

How i want the subframe to look

Thats pretty much how it is to date.
Subframe is getting an overhaul start of next month now that my La Rossa bobber seat has turned up.

Not to everyone's taste i'm sure but its my bike and i love it and my plans for it so not too fussed. Just thought id share

Thanks,

John
