Default pulser pickup

hi everyone hope some one here might shed some light on my subject i have a 1994-5 cb big one that shares the same engine as a 1988 cbr 1000f engine which i have spare now i want to put this engine in my bike but the cb 1000 runs one pulser pickup can i swap my single pickup and the timing keys over to the cbr as it runs two as to keep my own cdi as the cdi matches my pulser pickup and although i can get a cdi to match the cbr it has a different connection and not sure weather it could be spliced into my loom would prefer just to convert to a sigle pickup as later cbrs have any help would be a advantage thanks

I believe the answer is yes. There have been other members that have swapped engines form different years (MKI to MKIII or the other way around). I don't have the time to search it now and can't remember what else they had to do. The answer is here in the forum but you would have to search it out.

Either way keep us posted on your results. If I get the time I will try to search myself.
