Default changing the coolant in my 93 cbr 1000f

How do i change the coolant. I looked at some sites and they said there is a plug. There is no plug on this bike. Do I have to pull the water pump off and let it drain that way. Thanks fo any info.

You should be able to loosen and pull off the bottom hose from the radiator and let the coolant drain from there and the hose. Mix the correct quantity of coolant additive and water (think it is 50/50 but check the handbook) and flush with clean water from the top to flush the radiator out before refilling the system via the plastic see-through container to the maximum mark then run the bike for a few minutes. Don't forget to replace the bottom hose! Keep an eye on the level in the container and top up if necessary to just below the max mark. There should be a drain plug somewhere on the engine also to drain water from there, but not sure where it is. Other members may post and tell you.

Not sure about the 1000F but when I changed the coolant in my F3 last year there was a drain bolt on the left side near the lower side of the engine if my memory is right. A clymer or honda manual are usually worth there weight in gold in these situations

Moved the thread here since it was specific to the 1000F.

Bottom of the water pump there is a bolt with a crush washer on it. That's your drain bolt. Unbolt that, carefully modulate releasing the radiator cap, drain (if you simply pop off the cap, the coolant comes out about 2 feet from the drain)
