Default Laid my bike over.

Well, I laid my bike over on the right side. Came around a building and someone was parked in my way, when I hit the brakes i ran into some loose pavement and there she went. Was only going 5-10mph so the damage is minimal(time for new paint). But when I tried to start her back up she had a horrible sound and kept dying, also couldnt get into neutral or anyother gear. After about 10min I was able to get her shifting again, and another 10minutes before she fired up and sounded normal again. Is this normal after laying a bike over? What caused this, and what should I do if I ever lay it over again?

the carbs got flooded from the tip over so its very hard 2 start until it clears up and run normal again. nothing 2 serious just get it off the ground asap.

Well, I was going for a ride today but had a hard time to get the bike to start. Finally got it started but sounded like it had a miss, and died after a minute. After trying for several minutes I gt her started up, and she sounded good. Pull out onto the street and stop at a stop sign, go to take off and it dies. Same thing as yesterday after dropping her, doesnt wanna start. After almost killing the battery it starts, pull back in the driveway and let it idle for a good ten minutes. So I try again to go for a ride. Get on the highway and seems to be running ok(not great but ok) after about 20 miles I run into traffic and it dies again. After sitting on the shoulder for 15minutes I get it started and fly back home. I had to stay in a low gear to keep the rpm's pretty high cause anytime I'd shift and the rpm's got too low it sounded like it had a miss. It almost seems like its flooding.
As I said above, I laid her over on the right side yesterday, so where's the best place to start looking? What could the fall have damaged?

i'd take the tank and seat off, then trace all your vacuum lines and make sure they are all still connected, make sure the carbs are still seated perfectly, make sure youre fuel pump is still in place and the vacuum line didnt pop off it etc... make sure youre connectors are still in place at the fuse box under the seat and up front. i'm thinking maybe something got jarred loose when it fell?
