Hi every one hope u can help my cbr1000fk alternator housing has sprung a oil leak eeeerrr when i took cover off I found the bearing had fallen apart and oil was inside. On investigation I have found that the alternator shaft is surposed!! to come complete with the bearing attached and complete with oil seal etc. The price for this part in england is £450 and a complete strip of the motor to do the job can any one tell me if this is true or if they have had the same prob and found a way round it and is the oil ok in there if i can just replace the bearing my heart will not beat properly until i get some info so pls help []
