Default Frame sliders . . .

Hi guys, what are your thoughts on frame slider brands, and should I get them for both fairing and swing arm? I know they make 'em to mount by your turn signal area too.

Thanks

vortex...intuitive (no longer selling), and other plastic type ones are good. they're made to save your frame so they won't protect the fairings completely, but sometimes, slightly.

as far as the other sliders, i really wouldn't worry much about it...but if you like, you should get them.

just don't get anything with metal or steel on them. even aluminum ones are questionable as metal ones may catch on the pavement during a slide and flip the bike over or launch it to the moon!

i've got vortex on the frame (through the fairing). swing arm is good protection but not absolutely necessary.
always remember though, at enough speed those things wear down pretty fast... but it does ave your plastics during that time.

i had some on the bike when i bought mine... saved my fairing a LITTLE bit... still scratched up a bit, but not cracked.

i got some shogun plastic ones to replace the "used" ones.... the benefit to plastic is they're cheap and don't catch the ground and cause further damage, they just grind down... then u replace.
