i need to replace my front brake pads, doesnt look to hard, ive taken the wheel off before, is it just as simple as takin the wheel off and pulling the pads out or what.

 

nope...it's as simple as taking off the brake calipers (2 bolts), removing 2 hex bolts on the caliper assembly, then remove pads, replace and done.

do not push on the lever or else you're in trouble. may want to take your time to clean all around the pistons while you're at it...and maybe even bleed the system.

 

Simple job. Just pay attention to the way the pin fits back in place.

 

you shouldnt use brakes and therefore you will never need to change them.

Just did my brakes, both front and back, about 3 weeks ago. Just like Tahoe said, no wheel removal, just the brakes themselves. Easy.
