Rear Suspension!!!
Hey everyone,
I have been experimenting setting up my suspension differently and ran into some trouble adjusting the rear preload. I wanted to know how to change the settings (currently at 3 want to go to 6 to test sportrider suggestd setings) and I tried to move adjust the spring with the honda tool but dont think I am doing it right because its not turning the ring that holds the spring. I almost fel like the adjusting ring should be pushed out before it can be turned because obviously it looks like it locks into each setting. What other steps do have I to take? Will i need to use another tool other than the preload wrench? Also, Will setting six be softer of firmer?
Could really use some help. Thanks guys

ok: take the hook end and place it in one of the squares, it will turn ether way counter clock wise or clock wise, you can't turn it too far because it will just start over again, so don't worry about that. the # is read from the top side so turn the squares untile the # you want is in the 12 oclock position and that is the setting. you will notice that the adjustment has tention on it so it will be hard to turn at first. if you spray some wd 40 on the wheel it will be easier.
