Hey all- This is my second year riding my '01 F4i, Totally stock and I love it! I'm starting minor mods- fender eliminator, flushmounts, ect. Two questions though, does anyone know if those $200 Corbin seats are worth it, I take long rides and my *** kills. Also, what's a power commander? I keep hearing about this. --Thanks

I had a corbin on my old bike, before I wrecked it. [:@] It made all the difference on a long ride.

 

The power commander is a device that will alter you air/fuel mixture and on some models it will alter ignition timing/mapping..sort of a "jet kit" for a fuel injected bike, but much easier to use

 

My bike is identical to yours except I have a hindle slip on, and corbin seats. The corbin seats have a seam that goes right along the bottom of your *** that tends to hurt after a bit, but I haven't tried the stock on, to see if its better or not. The corbin seats are really really hard.

 

I have a corbin on mine, I just got it and it is much better than stock, it is hard but it is better molded for your derriere. I haven't gotten sore like I used to. as far as the power commander they are great, have it tuned by a pro though.
