HI ALL , IVE GOT AN 06 1000 BLADE AND IM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING A LOCATION TO MOUNT THE TAX DISC ON THE BIKE WHERE IT ACTUALLY LOOKS GOOD AS WELL AS BEING CLEARLY VISIBLE .

WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE FOUND THIS , OR HAS ANYONE THOUGHT OF SOMEWHERE I HAVENT ?

yes kiggy its a british thing , where the government screws you for large amounts of your hard earned cash to keep a vehicle legally on the road .

in return we get high petrol prices , traffic jams as far as the eye can see , speed traps , you name it ..............

i think id rather be riding in the states ...........

I have the same problem. i looked all over the bike for a good spot to mount the tax. Where i am we have two!!! 1 for the tax the other for the insurance, by law both have to be on display at all times. Now I just keep both in my jacket and the registration plate i leave it at home!!! Since i have removed the fender completely. Look officer!!! they don't make mounting brackets as standard.

 

Yep Mine stays at home in the draw, to many snapped off in the past by unwanten fools. The plod`s checks that they run on your reg number show whether its taxed or not anyway.
