Default Suspension Refresh

Hello. First post. I've had my 2011 CBR 600F since 2014. I've got about 27k miles on it (about 25k are by me) and the suspension is feeling a bit tired. I had a look, but there don't seem to be many aftermarket options.

The options I'm considering are:

- Replace with stock Honda parts - probably replace rear shock and just refresh the fork oil
- After market spring and shock set from Hyper Pro - https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/hype...-ho06-0af-b-b/ Not mega expensive. Replaces front springs with a progressive spring - not sure how this will interact with the stock adjusters.
- Nitron Rear Shock - Highest quality rear shock option but can only be serviced by them I think. Would leave front springs and just replace the fork oil.

Would welcome any thoughts or recommendations. I suppose a more dramatic option is to bolt on a front end from another bike but I'm happy with the geometry as is.

Shame there isnt more of an aftermarket for this bike. It was assassinated by the press on launch, who all said it was boring. Yet for some reason subsequent 650 models got good reviews despite being slower and having lower quality bits.

Hyper Pro make sell this front spring and rear shock combo set.

Default Update

Bit of an update on this.

I took my bike to my mechanic who replaced the fork oil with a lighter grade and increased the air gap, while increasing the pre load on the rear. This has resulted in a massive improvement in the ride. The bike is slightly slower to turn in but much more stable when lent over.

I've been impressed with what was possible with the stock suspension.

Welcome to the forum, lets see some pics.
Mr Honda did spend a lot of time on his bikes back in the day and as such refreshing the basics really helps, amazing what new fork oil can do.
I think the problem that the era of bike has was it predecessor was a truly fantastic all rounder (01 to 06 F / F4i) and the later versions were just not as practical and or sharp enough to compete with the that version or the newer more race focused bikes leaving it a bit in no mans land.
I have to admit that I and other on here are lightly biased, that said I have not yet found anything that I would trade my F4i in for so I suppose that tells its own story.
