Another HTEV headache.
Exhaust butterfly and airbox flap move freely with little effort. When I manually apply 12v to servo the system works as it should and when I reverse voltage it works in reverse as it should. No problems, no heavy load on motor. During normal operation in bike the servo will only turn anti-clockwise. When I short the service connector and turn on ignition the servo turns to the 90deg position but will not turn back. When I reset the mil and manually put the servo in the 0deg position the mil light stays off. When I manually set servo to 180deg and turn on ignition the servo will move to 0deg with no faults. When bike revs to 3000rpm servo moves to 90deg position but will not move from that position and the mil light illuminates. Resistances are all within spec. I am looking to bring bike back to original because I am sad an old and want it that way. Anyone have any experience of a similar fault?
