Ok maybe some has had this happen. It runs good hauls butt ....when you quickly open the throttle it falls on its ***. If you roll into it and then get rpm about 3k then give it hell it revs fine . This also down in the lower revs of coures from ide and up

Carbs are clogged and dirty. Lots of work to do proper restoration and requires lots of experience and specialised equipment (ultrasonic soaker, micro soda-blaster, etc.). Best to send to pros. Expert workmanship, reasonable fee, quick turnaround. Bike will run like brand-new off showroom floor when you get them back.

GO EASY ON THE LITTLE PLASTIC T PIECES BETWEEN THE CARBS/ON THE FUEL HOSE
They are old, and brittle as funk. [Atleast they are on the F2]
They are nearly impossible to replace, you'd be buying another set of carbs to steal one as far as I can tell. I broke one of them but thankfully it was before the carb and a wee plumbing T piece fits the new fuel hose and does the job. The inner T pieces that join the carb bodies won't be as easily bodged. They have to fit the carb bodies perfectly

You will most likely need to purchase a new set of o-rings. There's a member on here, @IDoDirt who has a link to a reputable place that sells the whole kit for your bike. I've used them and can attest that the kit is great.
