There should be a service that when one of us dies or quits the hobby, all these unused spares go into a community pool..

I know I have at least three of everything - two I've bought, and one I inherited, sometimes four thanks to family and friends passing them on. It's crazy.

But saying that, there's still the urge for us to have it "on hand", just in case. Much like the 400 different random computer leads, CPUs, old memory modules etc in my desk drawer that I might need one day...

Personally, I would replace with better-than-OEM parts and never have to worry about it again. In VFR group, there are guys who makes these in their kitchen!

Sorry, but this is not the replacement for the part that I can't find. I appreciate you trying to help, though.

Sorry, but it's not the same part. As you can see, the link he sent was for 16024-MZ2-E00 which is for joint set number seven circled in red in the part diagram. And that part is not even the same part listed for this CBR.

What I need are two 16024-MAL-600. Someone found one on eBay and sent the link, so I bought it this morning. Now I only need one more.

Like I said, even though it's the wrong part, I still appreciate all the help.
