Good Evening All, my name is Steve and I'm brand new to this Forum.

I've been hunting for a little while and can't seem to find any information so thought I'd post a thread to see if anyone could offer some assistance.
I have needed to replace my Ignition coils on my 1990 CBR600F-L, I have purchased a pair (if I'm doing one may as well do the other) and noticed that they didn't come with the spark plug caps.
I have hunted absolutely everywhere and cannot seem to find an OEM replacement (part no: Nichiwa VD05FMGC) and I can't seem to pull them off due to the end terminal type that's like a cap that's been weaved into the HT lead (I hope that makes sense I'm not the most mechanically minded)
does anyone know of the correct alternative or can point me in the direction of like for like replacements?

Are you sure about that? I took a look at that part #, and I'm not sure how that would work with your bike.
Looking at the microfiche, it shows OEM part numbers as follows:
30751-MN4-020
30752-MN4-020
30753-MN4-020
30754-MN4-020
Maybe we are talking about two different things.

yeah that's the part number on the cap that I took off the bike this afternoon, I can only find one listing on Ebay that relates:

however, looking at the part numbers you've provided they do look very similar.

 

My mistake, I transposed a character. Sorry about that. When I input it correctly, the right part shows up. Funny how that works.

I copied/pasted the numbers I provided directly from the parts microfiche. Each plug wire is a different length; that's the reason for the different numbers. If you want a one-for-one replacement, eBay is going to be your friend. Having said that, and I don't know if this will apply to your or not, but for the F1 series, there is a thread here concerning a modification that changed out a lot of things. it might be applicable to you.

I've found these but always unsure on stuff like this when it carries through multiple models as i've been stung in the past for it just not fitting at all.

They do look like they might fit, though it's hard to tell with a picture and no reference.
I also found this site. It looks promising, expensive but promising.
