Black Chrome... This part was medium in difficulty due to curves. Heat made it a world better however some discoloration and line are apparent. Sooo no heat! Which is harder BUT no lines or stretch marks.

Tools of the trade. 3M adhesive and adhesive remover and believe me ya needs both! And a steel ruler is a MUST because you'll be running your Exacto blade along it.. A curved ruler seamstress type is also good, metal if possible.

Tools of the trade! Vvivid wrap vinyl. This was the first time using this stuff and I must say it's been fun and sometimes very frustrating. Skill required is low to medium. I have some experience in wrapping radio controlled airplane wings with both paper and stuff called monoque. All you need is a few simple tools described hereafter. In this pic I decided to stay with the basic original colours of the CBR1000F 94 model hence Gloss Black, Gloss Red, Gloss white, Reflective red(this stuff is HELL to work with because it does NOT STRETCH!), Matt carbon fiber and Clear to protect certain parts. Aluminum duct tape is optional however in most cases you'll want to use it where heat is involved. The work-ability of this stuff is great for the most part. I'm no pro but I think the whole thing looks pretty good. In most cases you need to use a heat gun. and in some other cases you need to use the adhesive for extra bonding in curves, holes or warped surface. Since I have the luxury of having two CBR's, I basically cannibalize it for whatever I need. So I plan on wrapping the other parts some other funky colors. So in the end if ya wanna wrap you can! Not that hard, Just need right tools and patients.

My original modified CBR logo was made of paper and covered it with clear sticky paper. At the end of the season the corners started lifting. The new CBR is made of reflective red and black gloss vinyl.
