New date for So cal meet
 

Okay dokey got a rain delay this last weekend see what we can do on the 7th of March so far February is gona be a wet month heres my 10 day http://www.weather.com/weather/tenda...nav_undeclared so I will post up every other day and keep up on the updates if there any and keep roundinding people up :D

Checkin in, we got 18 inches of snow monday holy smokes ! 15 hour day monday thought it would never stop and more for the 10 day ! 9 degrees right now before sun rise :D

Was that you on TV Monday driving a plow up near Running Springs on 18. Looked like you guys got dumped on.

im just arguing with myself... i want the snow to go away so we can get this ride going with city worker, but at the same time i want the snow to stay cuz i snowboard. but im still looking forward to this ride. my birthday is in late march so this should be a good month for me!!!

Same here. I have had ZERO time to play ride. :(
My only seat time has been back and forth to work for the past month.

Nope that was not me in Running Springs I'am up in Big Bear I only plow in the city up here. I spent 13.5 hours in a loader on Monday I pushed alot a snow I'm kinda done with the snow but......were gettin more this weekend :mad: its all over time on the weekends moneys good but the weather dictates my life in winter kinda sucks sometimes but I gota appriciate being employed in times like these. I'am so ready for spring and riding......5 more weeks till spring :D

Yep, snow covered mountains all around me. Was a cold ride today to Neptunes Net for some lunch but a nice ride regardless. Next weekend is "supposed" to be nice and the "big" storm rolling in on Monday again. I have a B Day party for my youngest so next weekend is out for me anyways.

Yes "Cooks Corner" 11'sh on the 8th o March, see how it goes tell you I'm pretty sick of snow right now 3' in 1 week :mad: roads are gettin narrow, no where to push it other than somebodys drive way and they don't seem to like that......:D our secretary at the yard is getting screamed at by people over the phone re; snow berms in there drive ways. So if anybody comes up here be prepaired if you gota place or are stayin in a place......bring a shovel :D

2 weeks to go the current 10 day lookin good lets hope it holds out. my previous post said the 8th I ment the 7th, my bad :D so lets keep our fingers crossed I'm hopin for alot a snow melt so I can ride outa here ;)

I'm definitely not experienced. I got my F4i in early November but I haven't been able to get out much to ride. I have maybe around only 350-400 miles? I'll be willing to meet up with you somewhere since we'll both be heading south. For now..Let's start another list :D

hey guys! new to this forum and to riding. got my bike this month 2/07/09. Guess im not experienced enough to go riding with you guys :(. hopefully we can do a meet up for city cruising in the near future? haha

^ What?! Come!! I'm not experienced either. It's not like we're going to be racing or anything o.O It's just a get together to know the people in the so-cal area.

i still stall sometimes when i panic and i dont think i can handle the canyons yet. If anything i'll meet up for a little :)

What!! I consider myself a noob too. I don't think the that canyon is that bad, I think mostly straights. Just go slow.

Ya us three can be the noob group haha (if it makes anyone feel better) I just watched some videos on youtube of cooks corner canyon run and it doesnt look that bad.

Durring the Summer ? or right now ? you didn't specify :rolleyes: summer its cake just watch your speed alot of Harley riders come up here and they are not used to the cornering I watch them wobble around the curves and as far as the sportbike crowd I've seen some idjits too especially when its a group, the lead rider starts passing over double yellows and blind corners because they don't wait for a passing lane you know the story.:cool: The only danger in riding these mtns is the danger you make just watch your speed and stay away from that center line, cars like to cut the corners that seems tobe the main problems up here speed and crossing over the center line..... that car or truck will win every time :D When you ride up here take your time no big hurry to ride over the edge :) and winter foreget it I'm tryin to shoot out 18 to lurcerne just to get outa here because that route always clear first hopefully the weather holds and no more snow we got alot rain sunday and monday washed away some the snow so we'll see. I meant right now because of the weather and snow (still snow?). I kinda want to make a run up there again. Did that last year. Yea, I know it's kind of dangerous, but the view is so nice!

Jeremy, Welcome to the CBR Family. As for the canyon ride, ride YOUR ride and all will be well. I am in no rush myself as I have a family to support. Can not afford a broken ? or to have them loose me in a wreck as I lost my father.

As for the RR group, I am not the starter of this meet, but I see no issue.

I hope I can make this run but travel to NY lately is getting old. To think they said travel will be cut back due to the economy and I have traveled more this year than my entire career with this company. All good though they are investing some serious cash into my development and future.
