Long Beach Int'l Motorcycle Show Pics

Bought the 3-day pass online for $20 and popped over after work. It was pretty nice...not too many folks around so there wasn't a line if you wanted to sit on a particular bike (shades of the Ducati 1098 area last year).

Today's main celebrity guests were the Bostrom brothers and Colin Edwards. Had a guy over at Suzuki (his name escapes me at the moment), and of course Jason Britton was on hand by the Ducati static display (just in the general area, not representing Ducati). Lots of custom bikes (my kryptonite) and a very large selection of mopeds.

Anyway, I'll probably drop by tomorrow to see what was under that Suzuki sheet (mystery bike to be unveilled ??) and check out the Ducs inside the Ducati walled-in area.[/align][/align]If your weekend is pretty much shot because of the weather, why not spend a few quality hours indoors Well worth the $11 single-day admission/$8 parking.

damn i really wanted to go to this show too. i missed the one in san mateo but long beach is a lil far from sac ... oh well ill just have to live vicariously through yours pixs

Went back yesterday for more pics, and to see the unveiling of the new'08 'Busa.Very nice looking. Reminded me of "Tron" (yes, I'm old...).

Stunt show with Jason Britton was good, but I really think they needed more room to get up stunting speed. Other than that, nice show.
