Default Best place for dyno tune in SoCal? Inland Empire/San Bernardino

Hey All!

I'm new to the sportbike world and bought an '02 CBR600 F4i a few months back.

I'm looking for a reputable shop to take my bike to in case I have issues, give me feedback on my setup, and possible dyno tune.

The bike has a K&N intake filter, Yoshimura slip on, and Dynojet PCIII. I know these mods are not extensive but it would be nice to strap it on a dyno and know that the tune is spot-on.

I know this is not a drag bike, but I took it to the local 1/4 miletrack (my first pass EVER on a motorcycle) and I went 12.3 @ 117 mph. I only got one run in...

I have seen numbers on this bike that put it in the high 10's at 128 mph (optimal driver, optimal track, I know)... but I would at least expect it to trap >120 mph with an amateur driver if those numbers are true. Might be worth it to make sure I'm not losing a bunch of power in the tune!?!

Does anyone have recommendations on a good shop in the area?

The dynojet website lists "California Rider" in redlands as a distributor/dyno site... does anyone have experience with this shop?

Thanks in advance!

I don't have any shop recommendations but at what RPM were you launching the bike at? I haven't drag raced a bike but I drag raced cars and watched a lot of guys on bikes.

I don't know your knowledge of drag racing but there are a lot of variations that could significantly slow your time down.

Staying in the groove of the track
Highest possible RPM Launch
very fast shifting
very minimal left and right movement down the track

The list goes on!

I drag raced cars for 3 years so far and in drag racing any little thing can throw off your time as much as 2-3 tenths.

Thanks for the advice! I have non-professional experience with drag racing cars (maybe 150 ish passes) but am brand new to motorcycles.

Still working on my launch RPM, I think I'm limited by being very nervous at the lights, and also scared of the bike!

Does anyone have any other shop recommendations for SoCal?

Thanks in advance!
