hi i have some cbr wheels that i need to get painted but i have a question. i know you said it is 90.00 per wheel to get powdercoated, how much extra does it cost per wheel to get it clear coated? the wheels that i wanted powder and clear coated have the paint stripped from the lips of the rims but have paint in the center. will it cost me more to have this removed in order to get them powder coated or is it included in the 90.00 price? here is an example of how my wheels look http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/955096/

 

Little confused by what exactlly you need done. Do you need the whole wheel powder coated or just the center powder coated and leave the polished lip? $90 is for powder coating the whole wheel with clear coat or any 2 stage powder and includes media blasting and prep. If you need to keep the polished lip the price goes up substantially because its very difficult to do with powder coating.

 

yeah i wanted the whole wheels powdercoated instead of just the center only sorry for the confusion. the color that i was looking into getting was the gold metallic. it looks pretty nice. thankyou for clearing things up for me and i look forward to doing business with you in the near future

 

It would be $90 per wheel for everything for the mtallic gold with clear

 

Hi, I have a cbr 1000 06 I"m thinking about getting my swing arm powder coated. how much and what's the process to make this happen any suggestion this is how it looks now trying to make out of show bike.

I didnt think ya had to clearcoat powder coating???

 

Metallics have to be clear coated. Certain colors dont have to but the clear acts just like a clear coat on a car would giving it depth, higher gloss, and more protection.

 

same as frame I think it is a satin black but correct me if I"m wrong.
