Default Track Days/Riding Schools in Northeast

Anyone know of any track days/riding schools in the NY,NJ,CT area? I'm interested in riding better but don't want to go all the way out West to learn. Might consider Florida, that would be my limit for traveling. Thanks...

I am in the DC/MD area and I know there is a track in the poconos, and one in NJ but not sure what part of NJ. There is also a track in West Virginia (Summit Point).

There's Pocono, in NE Pennsylvania, and the brand new New Jersey Motorsport Part in far southern NJ. Both are ~ 2 hours from NYC.

Team Pro-Motion and NESBA (northeast sport bike assoc.) are two organizations that frequently run at these locations. Check out their websites. There are still a few dates this October before they shut down for the season.

only clubs i would trust to ride with are NESBA, ABSOLUTEcycle.com, WERA, Sportbiketracktime.com, teampromotion.com

i would personally never again ride with nysbc-VERY unorganized, slopy, minimal track time due to the way they do things... extended lunches (taking away from track time)

Don't forget to mention "toptaz1000rr" that you have ridden with the NYSBC more than 12 times. You must really hate the NYSBC to keep coming back. How curious it is that a small handful of people keep going out of their way to slam the NYSBC. I hope you enjoy those free trackdays you were promised from ... for your "honest" comments.

Summit Point in west virginia is within 50 miles of the PA border if I remember correctly.

If you are willing to travel to florida you have alot of options on the EastCoast. Here is a list of tracks that Nesba rides on.
http://www.nesba.com/Info/TracksWeRide.htm

Do a google-map search with the track name and you can see where it is exactly.
