Default Passing Tech with a street ready bike

I was thinking of a way to have my bike street and trackday ready and was wondering about a few things. Does anyone think I can use headlight mesh and it will pass tech (covering headlight requirement)? What about using LED flushmounts for my bulbs? I'll be redoing my bodywork soon and want to do something that will make the work easier (I don't like doing the street>track>street conversion). Anyone have any good ideas that they've used in the past?

there really isn't much to it other than taping things up. even with LEDs, you'll still need to tape them up...anything with glass/plastic should be taped up.

it's only like a 5-10 minute job mang...
the mesh may be ok...but depends on the org.

Maybe cause I'm stupid meticulous and don't want stuff like that tacky. I want to do it once and leave it alone. I only expect to remove mirrors and liscense.

the quck way I found to do the headlights is to cover them with electrical tape, then cover the electrical tape with duct tape that matches the color of your bike, looks great goes on pretty quick and comes off clean and fast yet still will keep the headlight housing from shattering if you crash

Same applies to painters tape (the blue stuff). Duct tape over it to match color of bike and comes off without the residue.

Colored Duct tape? I've heard of colored electrical but not duct.

Mr. Bird wants to do minimal prep work...so basically, other than mirrors, just ride up and ready to go...hence the mesh sticker over the headlights may work...but you still gotta kill the fuses for the lights.

Pulling fuses should be easier than pulling / unplugging bulbs. Thanks Hoe, I mean Tahoe. Where's the fusebox?
