My first trackday @ Buttonwillow 3-04-07 by ti2tt...
ok...so this was my first trackday...
had a blast...great weather...found out that i had some bad habits...
tried to be smooth but harder than i thought...
comment on ti2tt...cheap...$160...but i was kinda disappointed...instructors were not approachable...you couldn't see 'em until the session starts...and they ride like a buncha maniacs...
not recommended to newbs...
as for going to trackdays...had a blast and gained alotta confidence...signed up for Thunderhills in June 30by Keigwin's...hopefully my budget allows more in 2007...
here's the low resolution sample...this is the best one i got...
some of us getting ready for a session
our pit spot...we had a garage too...
all loaded up...

hey mang...you roll with BARF guys or what?
the angle that the photo dude took of your pix is a bad angle, it makes everyone's body positioning look worse than it actually is!
but just remember...in the end it's what makes you comfy. there are super fast guys who have supposedly 'bad' positioning but they are uber fast...then again who knows...maybe they will be uber duper fast if they had better positioning? i doubt anyone has brought that up to them anyway.
TiT2 is dope! you not likey? some of the instructors ride like mad. i know one of them...he wasn't too happy when we were out there cause he said we were sand bagging...muahahah...i told him i have street tires on and the sport group had toomany crashes...he slapped me like a hoe and said ok...muhahaha...but most will follow you around and give you pointers if you asked...
DID YOU ASK? muahhahaha...
very nice suit!

Hey, whats goin on? I am definately interested in going to the track. It looks like so much fun! I have noticed that there are different companies that take out groups. I am in SLO, Ca and have found two that go to Buttonwillow (ti2tt, thetrackclub). Does anyone have any recommendations? I am looking to go around June/July.
