Default JenningsGP Nov 24-25

Heading up to JenningsGP(FL) November 24th-26th. It'll be my first track day, so I'm popping my cherry. Any tips for a first timer? I can't wait!!

Oh, if anyone wants to go meet up there, PM me. It's an open track day. Going to be about 4 of us so far.

Sweet! Just saved $180 bucks. I was originally going to rent my leathers at the track. Turns out one of the guys going had an extra suit for me to use. If I like it after the track session, I can buy it for $300. It's a Bates one piece suit...fits great.

Don't worry about going fast just have fun and you will be more likely to come home in one piece. Watch the riders and pick one the one that looks like the best rider to you and ask if he/she is willing to give you some pointers. Most track junkies that can ride are alway happy to help new people that actually want some help and don't think they know it all already.

Good advice...thanks! Luckily I'm going with a track junkie and he's itching to show me some pointers and get me on the track.

I just went there last month for my first trackday. I recommend just having fun. Speed will come with time, it's all about taking the right lines so once you learn that it'll be okay and your speed will get up there. Have a blast though.
