Heading back up to Jennings!! I'll post any pics when I get back. Hoping to shave off some more time...and I might have a new bike to play with. New track toy!! It's like Christmas all over again!

Anyone gonna be there?

I'm not going on those days, but the folowing Sunday and Monday the 27th and 28th. It's my first time on a track. I'm looking forward to going. A friend of mine has been many times. I'm going with him so I'll have someone to show me around.

Cool! You'll have a blast at Jennings. Mondays are the best, since no one is there.

Well, had a great time, only 30 riders on Friday. Had the track all to ourselves, but I could not get in the groove. Sunday was the other track day, much more crowded, still no good times, but had a blast trying to pass people. I bumped up to Expert just so that I could get more open track, I was passed quite a bit, but it was a whole different and better experience. I'm still learning alot. I'll post pics later.

I'm glad to hear that you had a great time. I'm heading up there for Sunday and Monday. Been getting the bike ready. I'm really looking forward to it. How strict are they on your tires as far as tread ? Are you burning up a set in one weekend, or do you have plenty of it left when you go home ?

They ask that you go with at least 75% of new condition, but they really don't check that. But it would be to your benefit of course to go with good tires or you'll be sliding. My track tires lasted me a good 5 track days, this last weekend did them in. The tire shop should be open and you can buy new tires there if you need to.
