Very popular, well known "track day company" just made their second cancellation of an event.

Kept me on hold for 4 months.

Again no names...but I don't care who they are..."f**k them.

Problem is solved.

Charge is soon to be gone, company and any all resposible parties blacklisted.

Negotiate a better rate for their processing in the future?

This will not help.

You don't promise something, take money, then not deliver.

That's fraud. And if attempted further action were to be tried , that's a federal offense.

I don't care which party is responsible, or for what reason.

Moral of the story?

Watch who you sign with and give money to on products such as track time, schools, whatever.

And remember, I was nice about this.

If it's where I think it is, it's the track. Having issues with the asphalt company and some elevation issues. Happened to see the contractor at one of the county offices the other day. Might be ready in the spring.

That's unfortunate, and I certainly am more understanding of the track's position than I am the Track Day's actions of not even notifying me and finding out about the cancellation by way of a third party.

But, for the Track Day company to move the track event to a city that is about 300+ miles from the first 2 events, with no notice, is inexcusable.

I'll find me a decent company that is consistent andprovides professional attitudes and delivers on their promotions.

Meanwhile I have miles of decent backroads, which are safe, and have near race track quality tarmac.

I'm not perfect in everything I do either, but, I don't claim to be and don't run a business claiming to be.

Got very professional and apologetic responses from the two track day companies I am familiar with.

Smoothed things over a bit, but I'm still wary.

It'll work out with one company or another.
