Default Will a 12 bar keep me from looping it?

I'm sure if it's coming up and going over extremely fast it won't, but could it potentially keep me from flipping?

a 12 bar for a novice will cause more problems then benefits... plastics (and/or undertail exhaust) are alot more forgiving. With a 12 bar, you will hit it and loose your balance (intill you learn to easily hit BP and then touch 12). If your bike is violently lifted up and looped to 12, the 12bar will hit with extreme force - which will probably bend the subframe and still crash the bike to crash... learn BP first and then get the 12 bar.

another thing, if you have a "non-scratched" 12 bar, you will get looks and maybe kids from more experienced stunters (just FYI)

Okay, I was wondering why I haven't heard my question asked before. Just for showing off the 12 o clock wheelies and not for saving your ***, I get it.
Thanks!

I agree with Vermino. Except for he left out one other thing. Learn BRAKE control. If you don't have that down. All your going to do is come back hit the 12 bar to hard and break your subframe.

i've heard 12-bar itself can actually take your head off if you loop it (endo style i believe).. the bar is great for watch-towers and just holds tho. But everyone is going round-bar now (yeah watch your subframe)
