Ive been pulled over 17 times this year already but never got a ticket, ( I only pull over if I know I havent been doing anything wrong) The last cop even had the ***** to say when he walked up to me, and I quote " you should have been on a Hog". I went down to cycle gear and bought me a self contained helmet cam for 168.00 and now when ive been pulled over they see the cam and there attitude changes very quickly. the last one even thanked me for pullin over and told me to have a nice day, and let me go without checking anything.

Dude don't wear headphones while riding, you ears are just as good as your eyes, especially when riding wheelies.
I don't do wheelies in traffic either, make sure the roads are clear, hit some countryside flat roads, or empty interstates (after hours traffic).
If you follow the first 2 rules, it makes my 3rd rule of thumb very very easy. Don't stop for cops.
They are not as fast as you, and on a clear road with no traffic, they have no chance of catching you.

i cant believe this forum will let this type of "advice" be given out without deleting the threads

i'm going back to 1000rr where idiots like this would get banned
well how about you stop being uptight and dont worry about what other people in other states do.

People these days just dont mind their own business.

Someone getting banned for posting up about running is stupid, youre acting like you never broke a law on your bike.

If you run i hope you get away, cause i am pretty sure in most states that felony evasion and comes with madatory jail time. Dont forget you get to repaint your bike now also. Oh and a thanks in advance for makin the cops hate the rest of us who are man enough to stop and take whats comin. Cause at least around here if a jerkoff on a red bike runs, all the rest of us with red bikes are gonna get looked at extra hard.

I may not condone much of the actions of others but i do firmly beleive that forums like this are one of the few places where you can express your fredom of speach without reprecusions.

"I fought for it" "I will use it" "FREEDOM OF SPEACH BROTHER"

ive heard this rumor, from more than one person who do not know eachother, they both told me the same story abou thte same person, at the same place....
but supposably, a guy near my area here rode a wheelie for somethin like 5 miles on the highway, from one exit ramp to another, without putting it down, idk if the cop had followed him the majority of the time, or if someone was recording him, but either way he had proof he had ridden the wheelie the whole time.
when he went to court charged with wreckless driving, he proved that he had complete control of the bike, by obviously riding the wheelie and the judge ruled that he had to have control to do that, and therefore wasn't wreckless and let him off.

i didnt believe it the first time, but then a few weeks later i was talkin 2 someone else and they told me the same thing... so idk it could be true.

this is great stuff! ps: I don't want to assume on anyones talent level, but I have hung out at HAI bike shop who sponsers some of the worlds best and i have seen and hung out with some of the worlds best ie: Joe Dryden and I have yet to see them use any kind of music device or cell phone when practicing. this is my opinion so don't kill me, but if you are doing your thing shouldn't you be paying 100 percent attention to what you are doing? especially in traffic where we always cuss the next car who is on a cell phone cutting us off! I believe you might have not crashed yet or else the riding would be taken more seriously. I like doing wheelies and riding fast, but i make sure i am respecting the bike and envoirment. If i crash I want to be responsible for only killing myself, not the little girl crossing a street! Just my opinion my friend.
Very well put.

Ive been pulled over 17 times this year already but never got a ticket
The last 2 times I got pulled over on my bike I got let off completely (verbal warning)...1 time i was doin almost 100 in a 40 tryin to catch up w/ another bike and popo was goin the opposite direction...other time i got into a turn lane to butt up in line at a lite and after the lite turned green i was weaving in and out tryin to get in front (i dont usually do that but i was in a really ****ty mood and didnt give a ****)...got pulled over and she just gave me a verbal warning too

I think the reason i keep getting warnings is b/c I stop right away and am very polite w/ them (even tho i hateum)...they appriciate this and go easy on you. If i were doing something really big i may run tho...best place to get away imo is bike (bicycle) paths thru the woods or neighborhoods...they can follow you there.
