Default shakey wheelie?

ok so im new to trying to wheelie on my 02 f4i, a friend of mine told me to keep it in first, take it to about 10k let off and hit it again. im able to pick my wheel up but now my handle bars shake when i get it up there...why is that? he told me i need to rebalence my rear wheel...is that correct?

cause your shaking them, theres no force on the front tire except for your hands and wind resistance.... now if the bottom of the bike feels like its shaking, try lowering your tire pressure.... it will give you better stability cause of more surface area.... i think ive read before stunters having the rear tire pressure around 25-30psi

(2nd post now, so keeping it short)

-check your tire (flat spot, heavy wear, etc etc)
-lower your PSI to 20-25
-rebalance the tire (when you say handlebars shake, is it a heavy vibration - is it just in your hands, or your feet too?)

As bar as just starting out me personally I wouldnt worry about lowering the tire pressure that much unless your going all out just my 2 cents as far as the shaking are you pulling up on the bars and as said above check the tire out see if its tore up

I hope you realize that the 2CT tire will not assist in your wheelies, but I'm sure the stunters here can confirm. That's a trackday tire. It has a softer compound on the sides of the tire. I run the regular PP's and I love them.

they are sticky as sh*t, great for twisties and traction but for a stunt bike - they will wear out SOOO fast (throwin your money away)..

The 2ct's are supposed to be harder in the center, which I would think make it a better choice for stunters. Hey Vermino I clutched up my brothers 1krr the other day in 2nd and 3rd lol. When the forum gets fixed I'll share
