Second gear sit downs...
Getting decent at slipping it in first gear, sitting down department, 05 600RR by the way. Lookin to try second gear sit downs (I feel more comforable with sit downs). Seems I get her up about 6 grand like in first and try to slip it but it's not happenin. I rev it way up but it seems to peter out and bearly lifts off. Whats the approximate speed and rpms do some of you guys use to pull this off. Haven't really tried it too much yet just looking for a starting point.

oh ****!!!i just learned to do them in second!!!i had same problem, it feelt like the cluth it was just not grabing it!!! well what i did is pull the cluth less in the usual and keep the rpm's steady and once u start to let go out the cluth give it just a little gas....that is only think it works on my 954.....

that is my insight, take it or leave it. heres another
tape the guages and go by feeling. give it some gas. if it doesnt come up high enough. more gas. when u feel it start to actually fall back and quit rising and the engine just humms rather than winds out, get on the brake lightly,

I practiced a little today and it seems the right combo is get the speed up and RPMs up probably around 8 and rev hard and slip it and I'm getting better results.
