I'm thinking of goin -1 in the front and +2 in the back. Is this a prettystandard/decentsetup? Not trying to do any slow stuff really. Any recommended brand. I think I heard to stay away from Vortex. Anyone have a decent web store they get their stuff from?

"Ok" is very broad. Refine your question more and youll get a better answer.

What is a common gear setup to run when doin this kind of stuff. Looking for gearing to eventually get high chairs up and some higher speed stuff. I'm not lookin for a 70 tooth rear. Just didnt know how many teeth to go up on the rear

you can rock stock gears and still be able to hit wheelies from 20mph to 120 mph. changing to -1+2 is pretty much a waste of money (to me) since i learned to ride idle on stock gears. I have been running a 56 tooth VORTEX sprocket w/ a stock front sprocket for a year now. Vortex has never givien me problems. just get a good chain that wont stretch much.
