I wheelied my Haro once..... Does that count?

I hope you guys get used to my thick sarcasm. Seriously, I'm just getting comfortable finding the bp now on my tl1000r. The only problem is that it pisses oil after I ride wheelies. I'm fixing up an f4i which should be done in a week. Then it's on!!!!

 

first gear u don't need to be up at 8k, i can get my f4i up at 5ish with a lil bounce action, and not even bouncin sometimes then once u get it up u have more time to situate yourself if your gunna shift up into second without slammin the redline shortly after gettin it up....just my opinion

 

If you can't get the front wheel up clutching in 1st gear you just need to get out there and practice more. Get rolling about 15-20 mph and pull the clutch in and rev it a little and let the clutch out quick. Just progressively give it more and more throttle to get it up. I am geared -1 on my f4i and I can clutch up 2nd gear at 30 mph now when I'm doing sitdowns. You just need to practice.

Are you serious??? I cant even get my F4i with my gearing and all my mods to come up in 3rd gear. Either I'm not doing something right or there is no way a stock RR will come up in 3rd.

 

yo...i know that an f4i with gearing can be bounced up in 4th with enough practice...
saw the vid from another rider in a different forum...but i wonder what happened to him as of late.
he actually gave me pointers on mah wheelies...so i blame my busted fork seals on him.

 

Damn, I dont know why you would want to bounce a wheelie up in 4th. Your goin damn fast to be doin that.
